As a visitor from UK with an infected tooth, I had considerable pain and anxiety. Finding Lumino City dental online and booking an appointment was the best thing I could have done- from the moment I walked in I was treated with great professionalism, kindness and compassion. Fiona and her team looked after me brilliantly, allayed my fears and treated my infection promptly whilst explaining clearly and using humour to put me at my ease. She was also kind and reassuring when I contacted her further- I cannot thank them all enough. I have recommended them to friends in Auckland who have no dentist!

Dr Andrea Shepperson is by far the most professional and expert health provider I’ve known. It is always a pleasure to see her (who says that about their dentist?!), and I have benefited hugely from her knowledge and skill. A complete 10 out of 10, and I recommend her continuously at every opportunity.

I have such terrible medical anxiety, especially when it comes to my teeth. But everyone at the lumino orthodontists on Beach road are so lovely and understanding. There's such a friendly and welcoming vibe as soon as you walk in and talk to the lovely Helen at reception, and continued kindness until you leave the place. I've had two appointments with Dr Fiona van Heerden at this lumino so far and she is so incredibly down to earth and kind. I have terrible anxiety, and yet she always knows how to get your mind off of it. She's very understanding and easy to talk to which to me is rare. Especially that I am not of "normal appearance" she doesn't judge me by my alternative, edgey-ness and that is a quality I admire so much about her. She has the ability to answer any and all of my silly questions in ways that make total and complete sense, and never makes me feel silly for asking those questions. I definitely recommend this orthodontist practice as it is the best experience I've ever had at an orthodontist. Thank you guys so much 💓
